Pie Oh My

Today, I was a trouble maker. I couldn't help myself.

All alone in the house, after days of yummy food failed to touch my dog lips, I grew so tired of dog food, that I had to try to get some of those human treats. A pie was on the stove. Mmmmm. Apple pie. I can't normally get up that high - the top of the stove is pretty up there. But today I was so hungry. I stood on the very tips of my toes, swatted with the very tips of my paws, and GOT IT! I swatted the pie right onto the floor!

Apple Pie A La Floor

A little bit of apple and crust got into my fur, but I didn't care too much. Mmmmm Mmmmm it was yummy! If my mom hadn't come home right then, I would have eaten the whole thing.

She did come home, though, so I had to sit in my bed for an hour. Party pooper.

Happy Holidays!

Happy Holidays everyone, from my family to yours!

Love Us!

I am spending Christmas in Charleston with Tom and his family while my mom goes back to Massachusetts to see her family. I miss being with her, but I did get a great new Old Navy bone from Tom's mom, so I am quite happy.

Hope you are all having a great winter season!

Sonny At Fort Moultire

Today we visited Fort Moultrie, a fort used for coastal defense in the American Revolution and the Civil War.

American Flag at Fort Moultrie

We walked along the path from the beach to see lots of big cannons like the one I got my picture taken with. I saw some other dogs there, too. It really is a good spot for a walk.

It was a little bit chilly, since we were right on the ocean. It made me glad to have a built-in fur coat!

Back To The Beach

Yay! This weekend we went to the beach again, this time Folly Beach instead of Isle of Palms, where we went last weekend.

At Folly Beach

I was braver this time, even walking up to some water trapped in the sand when the tide went out, and tasting it (by the way, it was full of salt and gross!).

Salty Dog

I did have one bad incident, where I stepped on some kind of spiked plant, and the thorny part stuck in my paw. It hurt bad! I tried to dig it out with my teeth, but finally Tom had to pick it out (luckily he has a thumb). Even so, the beach is still growing on me.

Feed Me

I need pizza!

I am supposed to sit in my bed while the people eat. If I stay there during the whole meal, I get a treat. But pizza is my weakness. I can't stay in the be during a pizza party!
